Rooted in avant-garde jazz, experimental rock, European modernism and American experimental music as well as the traditional folklore of the Balkan Peninsula, IORI TRIO have been able to achieve a multifaceted sophisticated musical space.

From static abstract tapestries of intertwined forms to an evolving hyperactive web of linear dynamic flux, the music creates a strong dialectic of contrasts and oppositions, striving to find balance between excess and simplicity:

The trio delivers a complex and kaleidoscopic but also ardent sound oscillating between the refined and the raw without getting entangled in rigid compositional structures always seeking unbinding territory.

In an unfolding maze of vibrant rhythms, themselves primary tools for expression, and through unusual melodic forms springing out from an enigmatic, almost laconic harmonic language, the music conveys a strong commitment to becoming the vector of energy transmitted to the listener.
